Blogging For Dummies and the Baby Moon

Long time no blog, I know I know!! And to think I was so gung ho a few weeks ago. Since my first post I was very disappointed in how my page turned out, things not centered the background all crooked and my widley tink not working but since then I have improved in every aspect.  I have even added a picture.  My next goal is to get a play list on here.  Of course none of my blogging skills would have been perfected if it was not for my "Blogging for Dummies" session I  had with Haley.  She really helped me out on this one.  Lets just say that blogging takes time and patience and works better if you are not a type A personality and lack of perfection does not bother you.
Since my last and first blog, alot has happened.  We found out that we are having a little GIRL!  We are so excited! I am so looking forward to spoiling her with love and love and more love and cute clothes.  I am also looking forward to watching Brent become a Dad to a little girl.  I just think that is the sweetest most precious kind of relationship a dad to a daughter.
Speaking of Dads....Brent and I  had a wonderful Fathers Day in Chicago!!  We decided a while ago to take a short Baby moon to a place we had never been and for one reason or another we decided on Chicago. Actually it is the same time zone and Southwest Airlines flies direct from San Antonio to Chicago so that pretty much made our decision.  The weather was beautiful, in the 70's .  We took an architectural boat tour of the city, went to the Cubs and Yankees game, we ate at Giordano's pizza and Gibson's steaks, saw the Second City Comedy show and had a wonderful outing at the Lincoln Park Zoo.  Overall a wonderful trip with great food, weather, company and sights.  The picture above is from our boat tour.
The Baby moon was very enjoyable and at a perfect time in my pregnancy, the beginning of the 2nd trimester.  Not too big yet, have my appetite back, got some energy so why not!! I will say by the end of the trip my feet were swollen and that reminded me that I definitely was pregnant!
I know I have promised a belly picture and you will get one soon enough. Honestly there really has not been much to see until recently.  At 22 weeks I have officially got a pregnant looking belly not just a gross beer belly type thing going on.
