As we have been debating to join the blogging world, we decided that today would be as good a day as any day to try it out. And since the world is due to end tomorrow, I guess we do not have much to lose, just kidding. Now this is our first post so we are trying to think about what others would even find interesting to read about so please forgive us if this is boring. We will get better at this we promise so here we go....
We are excited to start with some great news....WE ARE HAVING A BABY!
Our bundle of joy is due November 1,2011, that is 11/1/11!Pretty cool.
Baby bump pictures will be posted soon. Many people have told me that I am not showing at all but I swear the bump is there and Brent agrees. Plus my pants are not fitting anymore and that is a sign.
We could not be more excited to become parents and grow our family. I am a little over 16 weeks along and am feeling great. Despite my crazy work schedule this time of year, the lack of caffeine and sleep, I was very lucky to not feel terrible during the first trimester . Since I am on the road so much for work I have replaced caffeine with soft serve ice cream. I love vanilla cones! I think that Chick-Fil-A and Dairy Queen have the best vanilla cones around. If you have not had a vanilla cone in a while, I suggest you go get one and your will fall in love. You might even replace your morning coffee with a daily vanilla cone as I have done.
We have a big day coming up and that is June 3. This is the day we find out BOY or GIRL! The thought of this day makes us anxious. Really more anxious to have a good report from the doctor that the baby is healthy and all the fingers and toes are in the right place than actually knowing the sex of the baby. We are going to love our little Benjamin Michael or Emery Catherine no matter what. And yes those are our names.
Tomorrow we take out 8 month old yellow lab named "Goose" Lucy to her orientation/trial at Camp Bow Wow. Wish us luck! I am sure we will have a story to two to tell from that adventure tomorrow.
